The Hillcroft College development will create a beautiful, state-of-the-art learning centre within the existing tree-lined college grounds in Surbiton, in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

The masterplan includes the refurbishment of the existing Grade II listed college building, construction of two new-build residential blocks and a standalone creche to support the college.

We applied environmental design principles from conception, using dynamic thermal modelling to design out active cooling which includes optimising the design of roof-top wind catchers to ensure classrooms benefit from effective natural ventilation.

The scheme meets the Future Homes Standard of 75% below Part L and will achieve BREEAM “Excellent”.
