The scheme features 12 apartments set within a period building. The original façade was retained and two new floors were added above the existing building.
Integration provided full detailed design and implemented all building services, as well as the energy strategy. The building includes 12 air source heat pumps, roof mounted PV panels and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery throughout.
One of the main challenges was integrating the complex fabric of the existing building with the new services and structures. We were able to streamline this process thanks to the use of BIM models and 3D coordination.
The building also features green roofs for natural cooling and biodiversity.
