Building services & environmental design consultancy for architects, developers and private clients.

INTEGRATION is a 25 strong London based engineering practice with satellite offices in Belgrade and Spain. We aim to bring back QUALITY, CARE and INNOVATION to Building Services Engineering and fuse this with a strong commercial awareness and industry-leading environmental design skills.

The four directors worked together for almost 10 years, delivering landmark UK projects such as the 2012 Olympic Velodrome and large international projects such as Central Market and the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi, before forming Integration in 2011 with the vision of improving the building services sector through a more INTEGRATED APPROACH.

Since our inception, we have supported the delivery of a wide range of projects including residential; commercial and mixed-use developments; education; sports facilities; health and well-being; cultural arts and heritage projects as well as several exceptional owner-occupier residences and artist studios. Appointment is typically through RECOMMENDATION and repeat business.

Quality is one of our highest values. Quality of design and output is key to achieving reliable high performing buildings and realising significant cost saving benefits. In order to deliver quality we focus on developing solid, well-rounded engineers and designers with knowledge beyond their core discipline including financial awareness and environmental knowhow.

Our designs are led by building-physics principles and backed by detailed modelling. Simulations carried out by our team are used by the industry body, CIBSE, in their official guidelines to demonstrate best practice. Our in-house processes are currently being accredited to the highest ISO9001 standard. This helps ensure our clients receive dependable replicable quality and provides us with a platform to continuously improve our services.

We immerse ourselves into each new project, listening, absorbing and approaching every design from a fresh perspective. We invest a significant proportion of our time in the early stages in order to capture opportunities and help the subsequent design and construction stages flow effortlessly.

Communication and Clarity are an absolute priority for us and our clients notice the difference. Our reports and technical drawings are fully annotated, with 3D BIM layouts to support 2D plans in order to ensure concepts are easily understood and co-ordination issues are avoided. We stand together with the architect, the structural engineer and other stakeholders to form one integrated team driving the project forward towards success.

There is huge scope for innovation and improvement in the building services sector. Our focus on innovation means we are able to offer unique services to enhance energy and comfort performance and drive down costs.

Our clients can take advantage of opportunities to add value to their projects from fully exploring the design space and from leveraging future trends related to: technological advances; grants & subsidies; health & wellbeing; recent market innovations (such as ESCOs and Demand Side Management); climate change; energy generation, energy storage; and transportation.
